What is the pre and post-surgical care?
Pre surgery:

Post surgery:
1. Cold compress for the first 2 days
2. Rest the eyes for 24 hours after surgery
3. Wear sunglasses to protect the eyes from wind and sun
4. Keep the surgical area dry to avoid infection
5. Avoid make up and activities causing the dry eyes
6. Follow surgeon's instructions closely
Normal activities can be resumed 7 days after sugery. Strenuous activities should be avoided for 3 weeks.
How is the incision and scar?
You will experience tight feeling and redness around the eyes for about 5 weeks. The incisions are made hidden in the eye creases, so the scars will not be visible, and will disappear after 6 weeks.
What are the possible risks and complications?
Every procedure contains some risks and complications. The possible ones for eyelid surgery are pain, infection, slow healing, blur vision, excess tears, dry eyes, and wound separation.
