Who is the candidate?

How long should I stay in Thailand for Male Breast Reduction surgery?
Male Breast Reduction cosmetic surgery requires 1 night in the hospital. We recommend you to stay in Thailand at least for 7-10 days.
Normally our surgeons do the consultation in the morning and surgery in the afternoon on the same day. Within these range of stay you are allowed to have enough time to recovery before flying back to your home country.
However, you definitely can combine your surgery with a vacation in the Phuket paradise.
How is surgery performed?
There are 2 options for this depending on the degree of breast enlargement. If it is mainly the fat tissue then liposuction will be done for this case. A small bore tube or cannula is inserted and used to suction off the fat layer that lies deep beneath the skin. But if it is the glandular tissue, which is more primary of male enlargement cause, then it will be cut out alone or in conjunction with liposuction.
What kind of anesthesia will be used?
Male breast reduction cosmetic surgery is performed under general anesthesia.
What is the pre and post-surgical care?
You may feel discomfort or some pain after the surgery, but there are medications to remedy this. There will be swollen and bruises for the first few weeks in a worse case. The compression garments will be asked to wear continuously for about 3 months or longer. The final result will be expected after about 6 months of full recovery.
The daily activities could be resumed 2-3 weeks post surgery but strenuous activities should be avoided including sex intercourse for about 3-4 weeks.
How is the incision and scar?
Incision is made on the lower half of the nipple area (areola).
What are the possible risks and complications?
Though, Male Breast Reduction is considering as a safe procedure and the number of complications is very low, but as with any kind of surgery there are certain risks and complications associated. Possible complications include risk of infection, delayed healing, formation of fat clots or blood clots, excessive fluid loss, friction burns or other damage to the skin or nerves as loss of breast sensation or numbness for sometime.
A second procedure maybe needed if it falls into the case of asymmetry as other body contouring surgery, it is possible that either too much or too little tissue can be removed.
